Beautiful native copper specimen from Arizona featuring extensive natural green secondary copper mineralization across the surface.
This piece has an especially interesting texture, with rugged formations, cavities, nodules, and areas of crystalline and radiating mineral growth. The close-up photographs show the complex surface mineralization and darker copper-bearing areas in much greater detail.
The green coloration is consistent with secondary copper minerals commonly produced through the natural oxidation of copper deposits. Individual secondary mineral species have not been laboratory confirmed, so no specific green mineral is being represented as definitively Arizona, USA
