Up for sale is an original antique U.S. Military leather and brass sword frog / belt hanger dating to the late 19th century (Indian Wars to Spanish-American War era).
Features a prominent round brass plate with a raised "US" emblem on the front and a long brass belt hook/hanger extension. The back of the brass hook shows light period hand-etched markings/numbers ("44" or soldier ID).
