Antique Catholic Pyx.
By SWIFT & FISHER, North Attleboro, MA. Sterling silver with vermeil interior. In the form of a hunter case pocket watch. The "'crown" is a push button release. The "bow" folds over the latch to prevent accidental release. The lid features a staurogram on a sunburst pattern. All original.
Maker's marks: the pendant is stamped "Sterling" and trademark "SF" with horizontal arrow passing through it.
1920s I believe.CONDITION:
Excellent original condition. No damage and no significant wear. No restoration/repairs.
No monograms or other personal engravings.
No dings, dents, bends, breaks, creases. No corrosion.
The hinge, latch and push button release are all functional as designed with no issues.
Clean inside and out.
Some light typical age-related oxidation as found.
