This antique ruby red crystal powder jar with a jeweled ormolu lid is a stunning piece that hails from Austria. Its beautiful design and craftsmanship make it a unique and exquisite addition to any vanity, dressing table, or collector\'s display. The intricate detailing and vibrant colors of the dresser trinket box add a touch of elegance and history to any space. The gilded brass filigree lid is adorned with faux pearls and red and amber cut class cabochon gems and white enameling. The ruby red crystal jar is deeply cut with pretty lattice, fans and hobstar style starburst patterns .
The glass box\'s handle has a very slight bend, there are multiple flea bites around the outer rim of the glass under the lid and there is a scratch on the shoulder as shown. As expected the gilded brass filigree lid has discoloration. It is missing 8 small jewels or faux pearls which originally were set around the enameled handled. Otherwise the 1920\'s jeweled lid jar is in very good condition, considering its age. Its free of chips, cracks and repairs. The jar measures approximately 6\" in diameter x 2 1/4\" high (4\" including the lid). The lid has an interior stamp that reads, MADE IN AUSTRIA.
