Beautiful Antique Palais Royal Style French Ormolu Brass and Beveled Glass Jewelry Casket. With ornate filigree design and a fabric velvet like lining on the inside bottom. It has raised legs and a hinged lid. It is 3.75" long, 2.5" deep, and 3" tall. To the best of my knowlege through research, it is from around the 1890s-early 1900s. There is a small chip in the glass on the inside left upper back. The lid had come undone on the hinge side. It was glued back in. In spite of those two flaws, it is in very good condtion. This was given to me as a child by my Aunt who collected antiques.
