Antique porcelain souvenir piece made in Germany for H.G. Woolworth & Co., Rochester, N.Y. Features a detailed transfer/painted scene of Falls, Genesee River, Rochester, N.Y., with dramatic gold accents, raised floral detailing, pierced side handles, and an unusual sculptural form.
The underside is clearly marked “Made in Germany for H.G. Woolworth & Co., Rochester, N.Y.” which makes this a particularly interesting piece of Rochester retail and souvenir history.
This piece shows age-related wear, including visible wear/loss to the gold decoration, small surface marks, and general signs of age. Please review photos closely for exact condition. I have not attempted to restore or alter it.
