●Sold as is, as shown: Please review all photos closely to evaluate the exact condition of this vintage lot.
●Estate sale source: Sourced directly from a local estate collection and offered in authentic, "as-found" uncleaned condition.
●Authentic German Putz: Early 20th-century molded composition chickens (circa 1910s–1930s) made for traditional holiday village vignettes.
●Exposed Fraktur text: Natural paint flaking reveals the underlying vintage German Gothic newsprint pulp, giving them a highly desirable primitive folk-art look.
• Original stamped metal feet: All four birds retain their original stamped tin claws.
• All stand independently: While there is typical minor pulp wear and slight wiggling around the leg joints, all four figures successfully stand and balance on their own.
• Dynamic lot of 4: Includes one upright standing chicken and three dipping/pecking hens, measuring approximately 2.5" to 3" tall.
• Safe shipping guaranteed: Items will be wrapped individually with extra care to prevent any further paint or pulp flaking during transit.
