Antique February 1925 Coleman Quick-Lite Model CQ Table Lamp - Crisp Side Sunshine Logo
Item Overview:
Up for sale is an exceptional, authentic Coleman Quick-Lite Model CQ gasoline pressure table lamp, manufactured precisely in February 1925. Unlike many pieces from this era with worn-away markings, this lamp features a beautifully crisp, highly legible \"Sunshine of the Night\" logo stamped directly onto the side of the fount, clearly marked with the date code 5 2 (February 1925).Additionally, the burner air tube is explicitly stamped with its original May 13, 1919 patent (Pat. No. 1533329). This is a spectacular find for serious Coleman collectors or early Americana enthusiasts.Condition Details:
- Fount (Base): The fuel tank is solid brass with a gorgeous vintage patina. The original nickel plating has mostly worn away/been polished off over time, beautifully highlighting the raw brass and the prominent side-stamped Sunshine Logo.
- Valve & Control Wheel: Features the original black Bakelite/fiber control wheel completely intact, clearly stamped with \"CLOSE\" and the direction arrow.
- Burner Assembly: The air tube is clearly stamped with the 1919 patent text. Includes two unburned mesh gas mantles still tied to the burner caps.
- Shade: Includes a stunning, period-correct white milk glass shade with a classic ruffled/crimped top rim. The shade is in beautiful vintage condition with no major cracks or heavy chips.
- Testing: This item is untested and being sold AS-IS for collection, restoration, or decorative display. It has not been fueled or pressure-tested.
