This appears to be an antique polychrome plaster or chalkware devotional statue depicting Saint Anne instructing the young Virgin Mary (often referred to as "Saint Anne the Educator"), likely dating from the 19th century. This piece is rather heavy. This is an estate find so it is extremely dirty, it needs a very good cleaning and some TLC. Many areas of paint loss and discoloration spots, all of which can be seen in the photos. It's extremely old so it is definitely not in mint condition, but it is fully intact. There's no major damage or repairs on it. It's just all cosmetic. At this point. The cosmetic wear just authenticates it even more and dates it back to its time period.
