This antique stoneware or stoneware pitcher in red mustard brown color is a unique find, possibly originating from rural Europe or the United States. The piece features a classic design that adds a touch of history and charm to any kitchen or home decor. With its traditional style and potential cultural significance, this pitcher would make a valuable addition to any collection of dinnerware or vintage items. Handmade and thrown on a wheel.
Approximately 10.25 tall and 7 wide. The handle is slightly turned which is kind of cool. It looks like glaze made its way to the bottom of the pitcher and someone used their fingers to wipe it off. I researched this pitcher but could not come up with anything definitive. It’s beautiful and found in Asheville, NC.
I welcome any help identifying it. Thank you.
