Offered is an antique Southeast Asian tribal knife featuring a hand-forged carbon steel blade, a finely carved hardwood anthropomorphic handle, and its original carved wooden sheath with woven rattan bindings. The stylized human head pommel and traditional construction are characteristic of ethnographic knives from the Borneo/Indonesian region, though the exact tribal origin has not been confirmed. The blade is hand forged with a naturally aged patina consistent with age and use. The carved hardwood handle displays a stylized human face with geometric details and remains securely mounted to the hidden tang. The original wooden sheath is constructed from two fitted halves and reinforced with multiple woven rattan bands, all showing an attractive, untouched patina. The knife measures approximately **13 inches overall in the sheath**. It is offered in original, as-found condition with honest wear, age-related marks, and oxidation to the blade. No cleaning or polishing has been performed to preserve its authentic character.A wonderful addition to any collection of ethnographic weapons, tribal artifacts, Southeast Asian antiques, or primitive edged tools. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are considered part of the description.
