A typical street scene in Agram, which has aspirations toward becoming the center of the new union of Serbs, Croats, and Slavs. It is in Croatia formerly a part of the old Austrian Empire. Its architecture is more modern than most of the cities to the south and its streets are wide but not particularly cleanly. The picture shows farmers driving their turkeys into market. The American Red Cross has a hospital and relief station here to supply the needy of the surrounding district
