How do I know it's real you might ask? Well, back in early July of 1976 I was in Washington DC working on as part of a camera crew during the bicentennial celebration. We were between recordings at the Jefferson memorial when one of the other crew members showed me a piece of white marble. When I asked where he got it he pointed to inside the inside the memorial and said there was a plumber who was installing a drinking fountain. I ran over there and the plumber offered me two pieces and I have had them ever since. The one I'm selling is approx 6 1/2" long by 2" and 1 1/4" in width. I'm not sure of the value but I will consider any and all offers.
