Really nice antique, primitive gathering basket with split wells, or "buttocks" style, to hold round objects like eggs or small melons. Keeps them balanced instead of rolling to one end! (women are smart!)I have personally owned this basket to almost 50 years. It was my grandmother's basket.Excellent condition! No damage and very little wear. It has a nice natural patina. I just dust it off.It measures about 9" tall and 10" across.
