Up for sale is a charming historical lot of five (5) antique baby photographs from the early 20th century. These portraits feature beautifully preserved images of an infant, including one hand-tinted portrait housed inside its original embossed textured paper studio folder.
The folders feature elegant Art Deco structural details, including arched portrait window mats and crisp geometric accents. The studio imprint at the bottom reads "Elster, Lagrange, Ind." One photo features the elegant handwritten identification "Caroline" directly below the image window.
An excellent find for regional history collectors of LaGrange County, Indiana, genealogy enthusiasts, or creators looking for authentic vintage ephemera and vernacular photography for junk journaling and altered art projects.
