Up for sale are 4 historic World War II \"Newsmaps\" from my parent\'s estate. These newsmaps were issued to the public folded and therefore all have fold lines. I don\'t think any were distributed unfolded due to large poster size. These historic documents were Issued to the public on a monthly basis by the Army Orientation Course. These poster\'s have information on both sides and describe what activiies and engagements the United States Armed forces were engaged in throughout the war zones during a week long period. The poster also sometimes descibe other military information such as equipment, uniforms and rank insignia. These maps are good condition but sometimes have small tears along the fold lines. Color remains vibrant on all of the copies. The maps I am presenting are as follows: Week of Nov. 20-27, 1942, Vol. 1 No. 52, Issued Mon Nov. 30 1942; week Feb. 19-26, Vol. 1, No. 32, Issued Mon. Nov. 30, 1942: week Feb. 26-Mar. 5, 1943, issued Moon Mar. 8, 1943: and week 8-15 May 1945, Vol IV No. 5F, issued Mon. 21 May 1945.(This one issued by Army Information Branch). The maps up for sale now on my site are the last ones I have. My price for these historic documents will not decrease, as I have priced them well below similar offerings. He who heistates is lost. Please review photos for additional information, maps are partically folded for photos.
