Feathered or fibrous malachite is rare and known for its silky, hair-like crystals that give it a unique texture and appearance. It looks like a dense mat of green velvet. This specimen displays the cat eye, which is a rare, chatoyant form of the green copper carbonate mineral that displays a shimmering, velvet-like band of light across its surface. This malachite specimen would make a great addition to your collection or as a gift. The specimen will come with a free stand for immediate display :)
