This is a listing for a large and heavy petrified wood stump. Woodgrain and quartz veins are the prominent features on the specimen from the Henry Mountains, Utah. The cellular replacement of the outside of this ancient tree wood is outstanding.
Under light druzy quartz crystals sparkle adding to its eye catching asthetic appeal. Faint growth rings can be seen on the top of this fossilized tree stump.
I always suggest you do your own research when purchasing petrified wood or minerals.
This specimen is a perfect addition to a display for both an avid or beginning collector. The quality of this wood makes it great for home décor and it's perfect for teachers to use in a lesson plan. It is the perfect size to display on a bookshelf, desk, or table.
