Metropolitan Museum of Art “Unicorn in Captivity” Ornament – 2003
Beautiful collectible unicorn ornament from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, dated © MMA 2003 on the reverse.
The design was adapted from The Unicorn in Captivity, part of the renowned Unicorn Tapestries dating to approximately 1495–1505. The ornament is cast in pewter, plated with gold, and hand painted, with intricate floral detailing and a gold hanging cord.
Measures approximately 3¾” tall.

The ornament appears to be in excellent pre-owned/vintage condition with beautiful color and detail. Box shows minor age/storage wear. Please review photos closely for exact condition.
