This rare and poignant piece from The Cat's Meow Village was introduced in late 2001 as a historical tribute to the victims of the September 11th attacks.
It is a highly collectible accessory piece that is perfect for patriotic, historical, or Americana displays.
Front Design: Features a beautiful, detailed illustration of an American flag flying high on a gray flagpole against a background of white clouds and deep green evergreen trees. To the right, a man stands in a solemn stance with his head bowed in prayer, holding his hat in his hands.
Symbolism: The grass features four distinct white crosses. As detailed on the back of the block, these four crosses serve as a memorial representing the four airplanes used in the September 11 terrorist attacks.
The Hidden Cat: True to the brand's tradition, Casper the trademark black cat is hidden in the design along the evergreen tree line to the left of the flag pole.
