Today I am offering this awesome pair of vintage German composite figural wine bottle stoppers.
They are beautifully crafted in a whimsical European Anri folk art style. The set includes a 5¼" full-body smiling man in a blue coat and cap. He appears to be a tavern customer.
You will also receive his 3½" companion bust profile figure wearing a mustache, black hat, and diamond-patterned coat.
These are typically made from a mix of wood flour, plaster, and resin or glue pressed tightly into a mold, then hand-painted.
Both pieces showcase classic chiseled caricature details mimicking traditional wood carvings.
Both stoppers are in great vintage pre-owned condition with vibrant colors.
~*~*Please note that the original cork sections are missing, and only remnants remain.
They are perfect for restoration, display, or a unique barware crafting project.
✓ You will receive the exact items in the pictures. These are my own photos, not stock photos or screenshots unless otherwise indicated.
