Original Vintage 1985 Cassidy\'s Restaurant Wine Bar Menu 1331 SW Washington Street Portland Oregon
Cassidy\'s has operated at SW Washington Street and 14th Avenue, in what is now downtown Portland\'s West End, since 1979 under proprietor Bob Cassidy. It became a late-night anchor for the downtown theater and music crowd, described by Willamette Week as the pre- and post-show hang for the Crystal Ballroom around the corner. The restaurant long shared its building with the Taft Home, an assisted-living facility; a fire there in June 2021 left Cassidy\'s with smoke and water damage, and it reopened in late May 2022 after nearly a year closed.
It measures 15\" x 6.25\" closed and 15\" x 12.5\" open
