Terry Kath (1946–1978) was a founding member and lead guitarist of Chicago, widely regarded as the band\'s musical soul. A self-taught player who blended rock, jazz, and blues with raw power, Kath drew the highest of praise from Jimi Hendrix, who called him the best guitarist in the universe and told bandmate Walter Parazaider that Kath was better than him. Kath died in 1978 at 31 from an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Offered is an original 3.5” x 5” color snapshot photo of Kath taken in concert, one year before his death. Dated July 1977 by Kodak. On original Kodak photo paper.
