An original vintage issue of the prominent Ukrainian satirical and humorous magazine Perets (Pepper), published in Kyiv in July 1963 (№ 13, 504).
Front Cover: Celebrates the historic dual spaceflights of the Soviet space program (referencing the landmark June 1963 missions of Valery Bykovsky on Vostok 5 and Valentina Tereshkova—the first woman in space—on Vostok 6). Illustrated by K. Zaruba and V. Zelinsky, the cover depicts smiling Soviet cosmonauts wrapping the globe in a red banner with a hammer and sickle, holding a "Peace" (МИР) flag while the moon looks on with the humorous remark: "The Moon to Earth: — Wow, you've got twins again!".
