1963 Hermes 3000 Typewriter. Excellent condition! Elite S-7 Typeface 13 cpi. Includes case, two (one original Hermes) cleaning brushes, and an original Hermes operation manual. New black/red ribbon installed. Platen rubber is new (from JJ Short). New rubber for the case/typewriter feet.
Overall the typewriter, and the case, are in excellent condition. There is one blemish on the back carriage panel. Also, a small barely noticeable scratch on the ribbon cover (top left corner). Please review all the photos. All operations have been tested and adjusted where needed, and work as they should.
The typewriter (and the case) have been meticulously cleaned, including the exterior housing/shell, interior chassis, keyboard keys/arms, typing slugs/arms. Light lubrication applied to carriage rails, ribbon spool mechanisms, carriage shift joints. All operations were checked for proper operation and adjusted where needed.
This Hermes is a super nice. It is ready to type and/or show off as part of a collection.
Typewriter will be well packed for it’s journey to a new home.
