RARE - FLINTSTONES SECOND SEASON!!!
This production cel, used in the ACTUAL CARTOON that aired in 1961, 65 YEARS AGO, is from the Season 02 Episode 04 of the Flinstones entitled " “Alvin Brickrock Presents”.
I love this cel because of the thick, dark lines apparent on the cel - SO different from the rushed, cheaper animation style so common for later seasons of the show! A truly great representation of Fred's softer side - truly a piece of animation history before cels started getting rushed and cheap!
NOTE: The only painted/animated part of the cel is Fred's head (as shown in photos) - everything else in the fame is reproduced for display purposes, including Fred's body. See photos for clarity. Fred's body has not been permanently affixed to background, so you can choose to display with or without it without damaging background - your choice!
Unmatted cel size - 11x12
Total outside frame size - 12x14
Reproduction/copied background not original, used for display purposes only.
This cel comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, see photos for details.
Cel will ship via UPS in multiple layers of protection (rigid mailer within a box), will be fully insured for the total sale price of the cel, and a tracking number will be sent to you within 24 hours of sale!
