For sale we have a Vintage Santa’s World Festive Lite Set Knitted Angels Kurt Adler 4 Boxes. Three boxes of this knitted angel set are included in this lot along with another loose set with no box. Each set contains 10 angels, 10 lights, and stretches out to 10’ long. That’s 40’ of angel lights which would easily wrap around most rooms! Tested them out and surprisingly many of the lights work. This specific brand of light has a neat feature where the lights still work when one goes out. It says that but I turned one light and they all went out lol. Turned it back and they all came back on. One box and set appears to be in great condition. Surprisingly no lights worked on this set but it may just take turning a couple of the lights. One box is heavily taped and the angels are kind of scattered. Most of all of the lights worked. One box is missing part of the top but the rest of it actually looks pretty good. The angels look pretty uniform in that box like they haven’t been removed. Most or all of the lights worked on this set. The 4th set doesn’t include a box. Most of the lights worked on this set as well. There are a few other spare lights scattered in the boxes. Not entirely sure what the angel faces are made of but it’s either plastic or celluloid. Some of the wings have broke off or bended. Some of the dresses looked tucked in or something to make them look like a half body. Some crowns are missing as well. Overall it’s an awesome set of vintage Christmas string lights that would surely make a wonderful display. Not entirely sure when they were made but I’m guessing the 1960’s.
