1956 KLG Super Plugs DFE.75 – NOS Retail Display Boxed Set – Vintage Motorcycle Scooter MopedA superb and increasingly scarce piece of 1950s British motoring history — an original 1956 KLG Super Plugs DFE.75 boxed set, specifically produced for motorcycles, scooters and mopeds.The set is new old stock (NOS) and retains its original KLG retail presentation box, individual period sleeves and the complete set of spark plugs as photographed.Importantly, the reverse of the original packaging is printed with the date 1956, providing excellent confirmation of the age rather than relying solely on the design and packaging style.The distinctive turquoise, orange and black KLG presentation is wonderfully evocative of the period, with the box advertising features including passive zinc plating, Hy-Lumina sapphire-hard KLG insulation, long-life electrodes and spare seating gaskets.The plugs themselves appear unused and exceptionally well preserved, having presumably remained in their original retail packaging for approximately seven decades.This is a particularly appealing piece for collectors of vintage motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, British motoring memorabilia, garagealia and period automotive advertising. The original packaging is arguably as important as the plugs themselves, preserving an authentic example of how motorcycle consumables were presented and marketed in 1956.The cardboard packaging naturally exhibits age-related wear, including creasing, scuffing, marks and minor areas of damage, but remains remarkably complete and displays extremely well for its age.A genuine 1956 NOS survivor and a fantastic period display piece.
