- Surface (Front):The multi-vignette illustration remains vibrant. There is uniform light age-toning typical of mailed paper from this era.
- Surface (Back):Posted with a very clear 1954 Sturgis postmark. The 2-cent red Jefferson stamp is intact and well-centered.
- Note on Defects:There is asmall reddish vertical stain/smudgenear the center of the address field, as visible in the photos.
- Corners/Edges:Noticeable softening of the corners and light edge wear consistent with postal travel and its 70-year age.
