A scarce, I think, piece of Canadiana in the form of a pocket calendar produced as a fundraiser for the Grenfell Foundation in Labrador and Newfoundland.

I recently sold another Grenfell 1928 piece with a screen print on the cover by a listed Canadian artist who initialled that larger 1928 piece.

Here the calendar is pocket sized and  although the screen print of Canadian beavers in their pond surrounded by birch trees appears to be by an accomplished artist, there are no initials to tell us who.

Regardless the 2\" by 3\" hand made piece is a great piece of Canadiana and still in wonderful condition.

Perhaps further digging will determine whether and which any artists may have been producing pieces for the Grenfell Foundation in this time period.

Please see and zoom photos for condition.

I combine ship.

Thanks for looking.
