New York Q.M.P.O.Size 6 3/4.Khaki uniform twill construction with brown leather visor and chinstrap, U.S. eagle front insignia and eagle side buttons.Dated July 28, 1949, placing this cap in the post-WWII / pre-Korean War period.Condition: Vintage military item with substantial age-related wear. Exterior has staining, discoloration and scattered marks. Front eagle insignia has oxidation/verdigris. Leather visor and chinstrap show surface wear, cracking and deterioration. Chinstrap/side areas have fraying and damaged material.Interior has significant deterioration, including staining, loose/frayed material, deteriorated sweatband/interior components and areas of material loss. Please review all photos carefully for condition.Original manufacturer and size labels remain present and legible.Sold as a collectible/display piece in as-found vintage condition.
