Item up for sale is a phenomenal vintage fall and winter schedule with map for the Chesapeake Bay Ferry System between Annapolis and Matapeake and Romancoke and Claiborne in the state of Maryland. Item was published by the State Roads Commission of Maryland for the Chesapeake Bay Ferry System in 1941. This piece was designed to promote tourism to and from the Eastern Shore ( Delmarva Peninsula) and has a chart for mileage from ferry locations to various notable communities of the Delmarva Peninsula including states of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.Fold out booklet contains rates and times of the different ferries. Reverse side has a detailed map showing ferry routes and locations of notable communities. Bottom of the map promotes the fishing, hunting, bathing and sailing opportunities of the Delmarva Peninsula and reads " A Year Round Vacation Paradise" along with " Shortest Route To and From Maryland's Eastern Shore". Item when fully opened measures 11" top to bottom by 8-1/2" wide.
