ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1940s BLACK-AND-WHITE SNAPSHOT PHOTOGRAPH — African American Fashion Portrait (Black Americana)
This is an original vintage 1940s black-and-white snapshot photograph of a well-dressed African American woman standing in a full-length fashion portrait beside a wooden house. She wears a crisp white blouse tucked into a long dark skirt — classic vintage fashion of the era.
The photograph has DECKLE EDGE (feathered, rough-cut) edges and measures 4 1/2 x 2 3/4 inches. The print is in black and white with strong contrast.
BACK OF PRINT: The back of the print bears a stamped number \"60\" and is otherwise blank.
DATING: There is no date stamp or writing on the print identifying a location. The photograph is dated to the 1940s by visual analysis of the clothing, hairstyle, and the deckle-edge snapshot format.
One-of-a-kind (OOAK) original vintage photograph — not a reprint. Unframed.
CONDITION: Used. Please review all three photographs carefully, as they form part of the condition description. The print shows light edge wear consistent with age; overall a very presentable example.
A wonderful addition to any Black Americana, African American history, vernacular photography, or vintage fashion collection.
