An original 1933 Wisconsin Public Service Commission (PSC) license plate, dating to the early years of a specialized vehicle registration program that operated for less than a decade.
Featuring bold embossed black lettering against a white background, this historic metal plate displays registration number 36061 Z, with the distinctive designation W-PSC-33 along the bottom.
Wisconsin introduced its supplemental Public Service Commission license plates in 1932, making this 1933 example an early survivor of a registration category discontinued in 1940.
Now 93 years old, the plate retains its wonderfully weathered appearance, with age-related surface rust, oxidation, discoloration, scratches, and wear. The raised lettering remains clearly visible.
A distinctive piece of American motoring history, ideal for vintage license plate collectors, automotive enthusiasts, or display in a garage, workshop, office, or collection of transportation memorabilia.
