Vintage Griswold No. 6 cast iron skillet, pattern 699 with no letter suffix, featuring the desirable Large Block Logo and smooth-bottom construction.
Made in Erie, Pennsylvania, this skillet dates to the prewar Large Block Logo era and is generally associated with the 1930s.
The pan has been fully cleaned, restored, and seasoned. The underside markings are crisp and easy to read, including CAST IRON SKILLET, the No. 6 size marking, large Griswold cross logo, ERIE PA., U.S.A., and 699.
The cooking surface is smooth and ready for use, with normal light evidence of age and use consistent with vintage cast iron.
A great piece for everyday cooking, display, or a Griswold collection.
