Vintage 1930’s IRTP 4 1/4" wide Hauenstein's New Ulm Strong Beer label. These are gilded and marked "Tax Paid at the Rate Prescribed by Internal Revenue Law". This was the earliest tax statement required by law and was only used from 1935-1938, so they are from that time period. In 1938, it was shortened to Internal Revenue Tax Paid (IRTP). These are unused old stock from the plant in New Ulm, Minnesota. They are scarce, in nice condition, and one of the few with the early "Tax Paid...." mark.
