There are a few photos with notationsthat are dated 1912
The majority of the photos are approx 5 x 7, quite a few are approx 5 x 3 1/4, and a small group are smaller. Only a small portion are identified on the backs or fronts
The Osmeña Waterworks System was built in 1912 to combat a deadly cholera epidemic and provide critical fire protection for Cebu City. Championed by Sergio Osmeña Sr., the infrastructure—centered around the Buhisan Dam—delivered safe, piped water to the previously waterless city.

images of the native workers provide historic vignettes of theconstruction and excavation process...... the US presence, Cebu harbor, and wharf, Don Frederico barge, US army transport ship DIX, Pier 1 quartermaster building, some storefronts/restaurants, huge water pipes, the AG & P office (possibly after the typhoon that struck in November 1912), AG & P bodega during waterworks construction, some bridge construction, corn festival at Day Panay1912

A few of the photographs have images of people, most likely from the US. One photo has a note on back that reads HECK IN THE FOREGROUND AND SAVAGES IN THE BACKGROUND this may have been Captain Nicholas Hunter Heck (1 September 1882 – 21 December 1953) who was a career officer of the United States Coast & Survey Corps, a leading geophysicist of his time
Another photo ofadistinguished group of gentlemen, a man in hatwearing a bowtie and holding a cigar may have been EUSEBIUS JULIUS HALSEMA (A CIVIL ENGINEER WHO BECAME MAYOR OF BAGUIO)
