  The verso bears a docket endorsement reading \"Elias B. Hicks / June b. Dear $5.00 / Bad\" along with a column of figures, suggesting the debt was ultimately written off or disputed.

  Folded document in good antique condition with toning consistent with age. Measures approximately 7\" x 2.5\" unfolded. A fine example of early American estate administration paperwork from the Jacksonian era.
