A single page printed by Benjamin Franklin in 1742 from "A Collection of All The Laws of the Province of Pennsylvania: Now in Force." It involves two people in Lancaster County who were to be treated as if they "had been the natural Liege People and Subjects of the King of Great Britain, born in this Province of Pennsylvania...." The page measures about 7" x 11 1/4" and is single-sided. It is wonderful to consider that Franklin himself might have inspected this page.
Fair / Good condition as shown. A ragged edge. Toned and soiled from age. The document is still supple, not brittle, and can be handled without fear. Displays really well. A wonderful piece of American history and an awesome addition to any collection. I ship every day the post office is open with your item safely packed. I always combine shipping and will refund back the extra on multiple item purchases. Please see my store for more museum quality artifacts.
