1700s Biscayne Axe "Cross Trademark Stamp" Wisconsin
This one is the real deal, with the Cross Stamp that can be traced back to Quebec Canada, 1500s. Some say its the Jesuit Cross, other beliefs also documented. The Cross is well known in a lot of Fur Trade Silver Artifacts as well. Jesuit Rings display similar crosses.
It had a blacksmith anealing flaw, which caused a fracture in the layers of iron, when used way back when.
These were known to be used as "Native Tomahawks" as well, a lot of civil unrest in the highplains at that time.
Very nice Authentic Example, not rusted to smithereens!
