This is a great Santa piece that I have never seen anywhere before. I have had this for many years. I purchased it at the Merchandise Mart Antique Show that came yearly to Denver. The two senior ladies who sold it to me told me this was new old stock from Germany but it is not marked so I can\'t guarantee its age. I just know the ladies assured me it was authentic and I did pay $1950 for it! It is a beautiful piece for display. Santa seems to be paper mache. Toys are a composition doll and a wood house. Santa\'s beard is rabbit fur I think. There is a deer but I don\'t know what it is made of - one leg has a crack about 1/4\" on an outer leg which I tried to photograph - this is the only damage. The trees seem to be of a heavy cardboard material. The horse is paper mache with glitter snow. The whole piece is on a base of 13\" long and 9\" wide and sits nicely. The piece is 6\" tall.
