Why this volume is special
This is one of the more important early Yu-Gi-Oh! volumes because it contains the climax and conclusion of Yugi’s Duelist Kingdom battle against Pegasus.
The volume includes the decisive portion of the duel, including Magician of Black Chaos, Yugi overcoming Pegasus’s Millennium Eye advantage, Pegasus’s defeat, and the aftermath explaining Pegasus and the Millennium Eye.
The cover itself is also a major selling point, featuring Yugi, Pegasus, and Magician of Black Chaos. That monster is especially notable because this volume contains its original manga-era appearance during Yugi’s final attack against Pegasus.
For an early first-print Yu-Gi-Oh book, that is a legitimately strong combination of iconic cover art + major story climax + recognizable monster content.
