WWII US Army Men\'s OD Wool Service Jacket with Garrison Cap: 8th Army / Western Pacific, Medical Department
Original WWII-era olive drab wool service jacket, still carrying its patches and insignia, and the matching OD garrison cap.
Jacket insignia, as found:
- 8th Army shoulder patch (left shoulder)
- Western Pacific Base Command patch (right shoulder)
- Medical Department caduceus collar disc and \"U.S.\" collar disc
- Honorable Discharge \"Ruptured Duck\" patch above the right pocket
- 5-place ribbon bar with bronze service stars above the left pocket
- Eagle buttons throughout; four-pocket front; pleated back skirt
Garrison cap: OD wool, Shapely Cap Co. label, size 7 1/8, contract date January 1945, QM Depot stock markings.
Condition: Used vintage condition, about 80 years old. There is a small moth hole in the back fabric (pictured). The inner lining has a size \"40\" stamp and a small orange stain near it (pictured). Overall the wool presents well and the patches and insignia are intact. Please review all photos, as they are part of the description.
