You're buying the WWII era Naval Air Force headphones and microphone.
The headphones have, "NAF-48490-1", "HB-7", "AMB-H-1" markings. There is also, "BEST MFG. CO. INC." manufacturing markings on the bake-lite receiver housing. The chamois ear pads show soiling, but no tears. The stitched leather(ette) wrap is nice. The rubber feels solid, but doesn't show any distress. The PL-354 "Bail-out" plug is free of cracks. The wiring is frayed in several different areas and is pictured. I noticed what may be a hairline crack on one of the receiver covers, (photo 3), but I can't really feel it with my finger nail. I acquired the headphones with an additional length of cord attached, (plugs marked "JJ-026" and "PJ-055B").
The microphone has, "CMX-51004-C", "NAF-213264-6", & "CMX" markings. The plug is marked, "N.A.F. NO. 212938-1". The cord is in excellent condition and the housing is free of cracks. The "CMX" mark may refer to MAGNAVOX as the manufacturer.
I acquired both of these from the same source and you'll receive everything described and pictured.
