The slogan reads: 戰爭に伴ふものは病である — \"Disease is what accompanies war.\"Back: text columns framed by a decorative border warning that bombing destroys water supplies and electric lines, food runs short, people grow weak and sickly, medicine is hard to buy, and a bombed country becomes unsanitary — \"Stop this useless suffering. Demand a ceasefire from the military clique that started the war.\"AI interpreting: 戰爭に伴ふものは病である (sensō ni tomonau mono wa yamai de aru) — disease is what accompanies war. The back text explains: bombing destroys water and electric lines, food becomes scarce, people weaken and fall ill; medicine is not easy to buy and recovery is difficult; bombing makes the country unclean and disease hard to prevent; stop this useless suffering and demand that the military clique which started the war end it.Measures approximately 7.6 x 5.5 inches.Condition: age yellowing and light foxing; prominent vertical fold crease; light handling wrinkles; minor edge wear with slightly rounded corners; light soiling along the bottom edge of the illustrated side and slight tattering at the bottom center edge of the text side. A tear was repaired using archival tape. No writing, no stamps. Print remains clear and legible.
