The WWII Army Nurse Corps Women\'s Military Uniform is an authentic original period item from the United States, specifically designed during World War II. This collectible piece of militaria showcases the theme of patriotism and service toward the country during a time of great conflict. The uniform represents the dedication and sacrifice of the women who served in the Army Nurse Corps, offering a tangible connection to the historical significance of that era. The skirt makes it an ensemble ready for re-enacting although nothing about the skirt indicates that it is an actual vintage match for this jacket (tunic). The skirt is a 24 inch waist.

his is anoriginal WWII U.S. Army nurse\'s tropical worsted service jacket. An important distinction is the Quartermaster Depot label and the explicit wordNURSES\'.
Thegold U.S. Army eagle buttonsare consistent with Army service dress. The cuff braid, shoulder straps and overall officer-style construction also fit the Army nurse/officer service uniform requirements of the period.
The matching-looking skirt is part of the ensemble, although there are no markings declaring it the factory-matched skirt.
The jacket (tunic) is quite complete with the Army buttons, both shoulder buttons, breast-pocket buttons, lining and cuff braids. The old girl is in great shape for an 82 year old garment.
