Dug out near Riga.
Dug out near German bunkers on Christmas Battles battlefield without soldier. Nicely shows brutality of war and power of artillery, main death reason in WWI. Imagine this thing flying supersonic speed! Soldiers collected these and used them to make bracelets, letter openersand brass knuckles.Great item for any collector. That was the place of one of the craziest battles of WWI Eastern Front. Left as found, still has all of the original patina, but can be easily brought back to shine, if desired.Scroll down to see better photos.
