Exceptional handwritten partial legal document penned by future 25th President of the United States, WILLIAM McKINLEY during his early career as an attorney in Ohio.McKinley signs with his full signature as "William McKinley Jr". Later in his presidency he would shorten his signature and drop the "Jr". He additionally adds "att[orne]y for pl[ain]t[i]ff" below his signature, and closes with a terrific flourish.
