Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Colonial-style pewter serving platter / charger plate crafted by the International Silver Company.
This classic piece of American hollowware features an elegant Chippendale style scalloped or lobed edge that frames a wide, flat circular serving surface. The underside is crisply stamped with the authentic International Silver spread-wing eagle hallmark along with the design pattern number \"277 70-1\". It serves beautifully as an Early American statement piece on a rustic hutch, a traditional centerpiece tray, or an authentic holiday table charger plate.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with a gorgeous, authentic brushed satin gray patina. It shows normal, expected light surface scuffs and minor utensil scratches from careful historical display and use. No heavy edge dents, warping, or deep gouges. Please look closely at all high-resolution photos to inspect the rim contours and back hallmarks.
