This is a traditional male guardian lion, featured with his left front paw resting atop a reticulated geometric embroidered ball. The figure stands regally on a molded, hollow square pedestal decorated with traditional Chinoiserie relief patterns. The unglazed white porcelain base features a faint, original vintage red ink export stamp.
